I don't believe that that's the case, because he himself is a woodworker and furniture make. I realize now I made a mistake in my original post that would imply that. I took a look at some older pictures of the piece and it did have a bow in it already.

Is your neck tapered all the way through or does it straighten out once it joins at the body?

The body was made by me. I am by no means an expert at woodworking, but I am always learning something new. I'm not sure if Delano has a recommended depth, but I'll take a look. The template for my pickups is currently out of stock on BBG.
