    Thanks to the original poster, I found the answer to my question and more. Yes the apps are interchangeable and the AmpKit Link being Battery powered doesn't have the crosstalk issues the iRig has.... so that is enough for me to go buy the AmpKit Link to get started. Thanks guys for the...

    I was planning on getting the iRig but in my local GC store they only had the Peavey AmpKit (Which I didn't know about). Does each other's software recognize each others hardware....could that be interchangeable was my biggest question? Has Anyone tried it? :hmm::hmm: Thanks, Andrew
