    FOLLOW UP- The Hipshot BT2 does NOT fit the Jazz Special. It overlaps the the original tuners. So I went with the BT7- which looks a little different, but does work well. Yes, holes needed to be drilled.

    TSREAL- I emailed Oscar after I read your comment. He replied that they USED to make them on special order, but have run out of parts. They used to make them for Yamaha, but they have since stopped ordering them.

    Queue- You are correct. I received a reply from Hipshot. They said the tuning keys on the new Aerodyne Special Jazz would have been their model GB2, which they don't make any longer. They closest match that they make are the BT2, but they are not an exact match, so holes would need to be...

    Does anybody know which Hipshot Extender fits the Aerodyne Jazz Specials from Japan. I got one of the Chocolate Bursts during the price error. I love it but need to go Drop D sometimes. Going by the photos, it doesn't look like the BT10 is the correct one. Any help is appreciated.
