What preamp was in this when it was made. I currently have the OBP2 in my Forte and have one of Sheldon's pres in the mail whcih I want to put into it. Will I face the same problem?

I'm looking at adding some emg pjx pups to my NS2a. Question is, how do I power it? Do I run the power from the same battery as the haz or do I need a separate battery. Also, do I just wire it the pups up directly to the haz and discard the pots that come with it?

Thanks for that, I will definitely do some research. I've heard good things about the ones that have been for sale on Tb. Not sure I'd risk the Russian ones though.
