Darkglass Microtubes 900 Class D Amp

I haven't tried any other cabs with it so it's hard to say much other than it sounds great (and is extremely powerful).
The adjustable tweeter helps control the presence of saturated tones. Lately I've been doing tweeter 0% on the 112 and 90% on the 210 for my rock trio (with distorted strat and big drums).

Thanks. Vanderklay's rep in Sweden is my buddy, so I really need to try this. :)

Trying is always the best option especially if you can A/B them against your usual cabs.
I played a Hartke cab for a while and I remember being quite satisfied with it, however upon trying the Vanderkley it was immediately apparent they were a league above.

I've been meaning to record my bass arrangement of Highway Star's organ solo through this rig. Will report back when (if ever) I have.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything via search.

Can the Microtubes 900 be operated without a speaker load and just use the XLR out as a DI into a recording interface for silent recording? Thanks!

Ah

That is awesome

So technically I could go DG amp DI out into my behringer xenys 502 mixer and then headphones into the mixer for silent home practice?

If this is the case, I will be mighty happy!
For sure! I run from the amps XLR out into a scarlet interface and then into Logic to record ideas, jam and practice. Should work the same with your setup.

@Maureen M nicely done

Simplicity at its best, as I am getting older I am getting more simple, and not just in my bass gear....

Thanks! And I definitely agree about the simplicity - I feel really lucky to play with a guitarist who understands that. She is ridiculously good but is also a good enough songwriter to show restraint and to keep the song as the primary focus.
