Hell yeah it can. I run the Sansamp in the clean loop and a Big Muff Pi Deluxe in the dirty loop. Took a bit of knob turning on all three but it now sounds great through my SWR 400 and ancient Gallien-Krueger 4412H cab.

I have one I bought used off a guy for $250 a few years ago. I've played through a number of rigs and this thing is something special. Mine's a little rough so I'm refurbishing it myself. New tolex, handles and casters. It still has the original speakers, though. Personally I think this beast...
