Thanks Jim, I'm trying to clarify a little bit the tone of the BXR... Sometimes it feels too muddy for me. I have an ampeg B1 head with a pre out and a GAP PRE-73jr, I'm gonna try both with the BXR power amp in jack and see if they do the trick.

Hi folks, I have a question for BXR60 owners: can you hook another cabinet using the line out jack? I have a 210 cab with a 4 ohms load and I was wandering if I could match it with the BXR.

Hi folks, sorry to bring this thread back to life... I have the chance to buy a Ampeg B1 head in good shape or a micro vr head, kinda at the same price... Both have similar wattage and -as far as I read- both have warm, vintage sound. Have anyone tried both?
