Honestly I can’t remember if I sold that to you or not! Did you do the mods after buying it? I remember I had modded an IGB-550 with some Ibanez Sr-1000LE DiMarzio pickups and electronics but it was active. That thing was a beast; some regret selling that one!

That bass looks more like an IGB-550 rather than an SB-Integra. The SB-Integras has the offset headstock and chrome hardware. Does yours have the symmetrical 2x2 headstock?

One of my SBs was modded at some point before I got it for string through body. I haven’t used it much, but the bridge does accommodate it perfectly.

The usual RIs have used a type of Gotoh bridge, I believe, for many years.

I’ve bought one BB circuit kit from the LDP music group in Michigan, USA a few years ago, (main Aria distributor in the US) but in my experience they have been spotty with following through and communication lately. You could email them and see if they are receptive to selling the BB circuit still.

I saw a CLB in the wild while on vacation in Tokyo! It was at G Club in Shibuya. I played it for a few minutes and it feels / looks like the Japanese SB-1000RIs I’ve played in the past, so of good quality. The action was a little high and it did not have lighter gauge Rotosounds though. Anyway...

Yes, let us know if Alembic replies. In my experience that can be a BIG if, though! Hopefully they can shed some light on it. It looks very well made and that serial number stamp looks very Alembic-style. On a related note, I have an IGB bass that is in all black (including DR Black Beauties)...
