Thanks Al, that was what I figured. I also suspect that tube infant mortality would be caught in QC, but like I said, paranoid. I did have a preamp tube go bad in my SVT, but that was a whole other issue with a bad solder joint on the board.

Quick question for you subway users: Has anyone with a WD-800 had to change out their tube yet? I'm asking because I was planning on purchasing a WD-800 soonish, although the TT-800 is also looking interesting ( Damn you Andy!!) and being the experienced (and therefore, paranoid) player, I...

I use my synths to help write mostly. I started with a crappy Casio, then got myself a Korg X-3 in the early 90's. I now use a Korg TR-61 with a Fatar MP-117 tied to it on stage, and at home I've got a rack with Roland, Korg, Alesis and Akai modules in it, in addition to an old Fatar controller...

Hmmmm...I'll have to see if that guy's available next time we play...:roflmao:

Thanks Grant! between you and Cliff, the report standard is pretty high, so that's high praise indeed!:hyper: Actually, we had multiple video cameras at the show, and the bass sounded as bad as I thought, and Darren's vocals were way over-gained, making them muddy and distorted, so sound wise...
