I use the EH germanium 4 big muff. Very versatile and goes from a little edge till full fuzz. It has the big muff tone knob and it enables you to have incredible bass boost at a valve amp like edge of overdrive. My best bass fuzz, overdrive!

Getting a lot of interesting answers here, the piccolo8 thread convinced me to build a bass Horn cab. I'm leaning towards the celestion because it has a smoother mid responce then the eminence. The bass scoop will roughen up the mids so the speaker doesn't need that.

It's how much you mind it, if the notes are correcctly intonated thought the buzz, it's allowed. If you want no buzz at all you should raise the action or play softer.

I believe you have to create your own wiring, I like to help you but then you will have to say which optoins it should have, how many pickups there are 3, I persume. And how many wires each pickup has as well as the number of pots.

reversed polarity and winding only makes it humcanceling. just wire neck-neck or bridge-bridge in series and you will get the humbucker sound. the doubled resistance will create the fat sound and output, not the polarity and winding.
