Thanks a lot for this. In struggling to find a good clean tone with the Adam. I play bass in a symphonic metal band and too much distortion is conte productive. I am more after a clean-ish tone similar to Alex Webster's tone

So you use the x7 for your distortion sound and the ADAM just for eq, noisegate and compression? Did you switch off the distortion on the ADAM? Thanks for your help

This is what I will ultimately do after band rehearsal on Friday. Thanks a lot for your support. The B7k or X sounded awesome into the Luminal booster.. 1/4" out straight to my amp and XLR to the mixer with a cabsim engaged. Thanks again! You've been very helpful. The Infinity is now sold 😀

But do you not require a cab sim at the end of the chain when going into the mixer/PA ?

so do you think it would make sense to use the X7 at the end of a pedal chain (with my hyper luminal booster and a tuner before the X7 in the chain) and go with XLR out directly into the mixer?

would this also include the X7 ? I am pondering whether to put it at the end of the pedal chain, with a Hyper Luminal booster... what do you think?

In my endless endeavor of the hunt for perfect metal tones, I finally settled for Bass -> Luminal booster -> Microtubes Infinity. I thought that maybe the Infinity includes already a bunch of great distortions and chaining the B7K together with those pedals would be overkill. I switched the cab...

Thanks a lot! I just prefer the analog (the B7k should be analog) sound more.. ok, the cab sim is digital, but maybe this will all sound less digital than with the Microtubes infinity. Never got really along with that pedal, although it is full of functions. Maybe that's the problem for an old...

Thank you very much for your great response. I have decided to get rid of the Infinity in the end and work only with the other pedals. I like the B7k sound, will use the IR Cab sim on the Luminal Booster.. I will look into all you have written and tinker with the knobs and settings. Thanks again!!!
