I was talking just about following configuration: Bass conected, phone with mp3 connected to aux in, amp connected to a speaker. In this configuration, the equalizer affects the music from the smartphone. Other options, I have not tried so far.

The warwick lma500 has an internal temperature switch to starts the fans when needed. Very clever and at a low cost.

Indeed, the answer from marshall was: fans do work from beginning... Bad news for me. I love the amp but this feature is a pain in the ass, so i will get the smaller version wich have no fans at all.

Sorry to bother you this late... i just received a tn501 and it is all right, but the fans start working as soon as I switch it on. Normal weather, around 20°celsiud at home...
