    Wow that's nice!!! If I had any money I would be trying to get A few more nice G&L's. like I would love to have a L1000 With an Ebony board. I will just have to keep playing my L 2000. Thank you for sharing.

    This is pre-law suit I just want to know about this maple neck mahogany body with this weird black chip paint. it not seem to be a common color scheme

    I know they changed the headstock in 83. I Heard someone say that the factory didn't paint solid over mahogany. So maybe it was a mahogany slab that got dinged at the factory and painted over it.

    So, this bass is amazing ... Is there a reason why they stopped making this version of the late 81'/early82' hog/ maple? Or is this bass a special order. Because I have yet to see another bass like this.

    I really want to try flats and see what they sound like. My friends L1k had flats and it was definitely the way to go for that instrument.
