When you are plugged into a mixer via the XLR out, it allows the mixer to power the pedal through the XLR cable- no batteries or extra power supply needed.

Yes- it is. It is a static low pass filter. Great for a fixed "way too low" dub tone. Or hook up an expression pedal for manual filter sweeps- great when fed fuzz!

Double-Xero! Just got the Xerograph (regular) in. I can do static dub bass and expression sweeps with this one and have the Deluxe controlled by playing dynamics. Fun.

I'll be the jerk who ignores your "not too expensive" criteria and suggest the Moog ring mod. That thing does buttery smooth volume swells (tremolo) as well as what it's name suggests.

That thing looks awesome. Please report back on how wild the LFO can get. I know it's probably just suppose to add a friendly chorus shimmer to the repeats, but I really hope it it can get crazy.
