Holy EBS! Nice board GB.

I mocked up a fantasy board that looked a lot like yours once, but I didn't have a flanger in mind. How are you liking the MetalDrive? I still want to try one.

BUT I love me some phasing (the more stages the better!)

So now I have an 18-stage and 12-stage phaser: 30-stages? :bassist:

Hey Fabe, since you're a champ at this whole pedalboard thing, wanna boldface the changes on your board when you post so maybe I can tell what's different??

I read every one of your posts, but can't tell the differences in most of them! I needs a new brains.

I really like the MetalDrive. The MultiDrive has been my go to dirt pedal for my active basses for a while now so I had to have the MetalDrive to compliment it and it has not disappointed. Always fits in the mix, never have to worry about disappearing beneath distorted guitars. EBS dirt pedals seem to work magic with the Sansamp too, like they were made for each other. They bring alive the tube sim, for some real convincing tube warmth breakup tones.

The four EBS pedals on my board are all keepers. Tried out three others that didn't make the cut. I liked the UniChorus but the MXR flangers have more bite and a pleasing natural distortion that the UniChorus was lacking. The OctaBass was the first octaver I ever tried. Now that I've tried a few more I would like to give it another go and do a side-by-side comparison with the MXR BOD. The BassIQ was the only EBS pedal I just didn't like. Had a real hard time trying to control the sweep.

Explain if you can. The LS-2 anytime a or b is activated, it only is using the sends and not the main in and out. Also, if the A+B is selected, it doesn't give you the option to just A or B alone. If A or B is selected, it doesn't give you the A or B option with it. To me, ls2 really failed not having a A or B then A and B as a option.

Is the any other way I'm missing to run the LS2 to achieve having a or b, and b, then just dry/bypass fx all in one dial setting?? Jeeeeze how cld they miss that?

Oooops I meant when the A+B is selected, it doesn't give you the option of A "or" B too. This is an important setting IMO for a "line selector" really boss? < frustrating >

EDITED....

loving the new set-up and for the first time in years I'm taking a break from effects and even Talkbass (for a little while). After 6 years of effects my board is exactly where I want it so gonna focus on my playing with and w/o effects....

I'll still lurk around here but not too much
