Not sure I got what you mean. The gain controls both gain stages and "style" blends the two circuits so until you go "full J", that is CCW on style you'll hear some of the "bite" happening but its only really on the F preamp. I mean J and F are two different preamps that share a gain control...

let me try to explain signal chain: -> you BLEND three signals, fixed gain clean with STYLE that on its own blends GAIN J and GAIN F. -> BITE is only before GAIN F (most people don't notice this) -> BMT EQ -> DEEP -> LPF lot's of thoughts, fights, real world tests, trial and error, anytime.

LPF is on the CAPO because there is a need for it since it's capable of distortion and some distorted frequencies on the DI out are not that pleasant. We kept the LUCE as minimal as possible and it would be also hard to fit any more circuit inside. Since we don't use SMD components on the audio...

There is no need for it in the Sarto since the HPF has a little boost around the cutoff frequency.

Ok so with the Luce, JF started a line of smaller print "pedals". The one coming is the first real pedal. Jack and power on top to save space. This one is a clean preamp, boost, eq, di, made for all instruments including acoustics.
