When playing gigs, I always use the same bass. I suppose it could be called my number one, although that is not how I refer to it. It's a Warmoth J-Style body and neck I assembled that has DiMarzio DP-123 Jazz pickups. For rehearsals, I play the flavor of the day.

Sort of .... My main player is a partscaster that I assembled. It is an MJT body, Warmoth neck, and DiMarzio J-Bass pickups. But, as many do, I have a few others and when the mood strikes, I love to play any one of them.

I am still regularly using Boss and Ibanez pedals I purchased brand new in the early '80s. I agree with JonathanPDX that I would not necessarily seek out an older one if a new version is readily available. Best wishes for finding what you are looking for.
