Pain gone!

I recently started playing bass again. Had been playing mostly guitar for a year or so, switched to that due to some pain in my arm/ hand. Picked up the bass again and the pain (discomfort really) came back a little. Tried a short scale and it was much better. But now I been playing my 34" scale basses and it's fine!
Maybe the way I was playing the short scale was different and I transferred it to the regular scale? I don't know. But the good news is it's gone I'll take the win!

I had something similar happen. I had a tendonitis issue from work which playing short scale helped resolve. Switched back to 34 and now I'm all good!
