Balanced head line out into aux input of a combo?

Hi everyone...I've recently purchased a Hartke HD25, incredible combo all around and for the cost in particular. It features an 1/8" AUX input that can be use, according to the manual, to connect not only CD and Mp3 players, but, quoting from the manual itself, "any line level signal including...

Open strings not "clanking" when slapped

I was reading about this topic and how the brass Just-a-Nut has a better resonance when it comses to open strings...I also considered replacing the tedur nut, but the brass one would cost 77 euros (!!), plus I don't know if I would risk doing the job myselfand that would add a supplementary...

Open strings not "clanking" when slapped

Hi folks, I have a problem with my Warwick Corvette $$ 5 strings...When slapping, it sounds to me like the open B - E - A strings don't make the usual "clank" you would expect/look for when using such playing style, expecially the E string...the fretted notes sounds better, but the open string...

Is the temperature and humidity of the room affecting my bass?

Just checked my bedroom with the humidity/temp meter, it marks 28°C and 55% humidity at the moment... Do you think it's good enough or is it better to put something inside the cases to regulate humidity? Thanks again

Is the temperature and humidity of the room affecting my bass?

o Mmm... So maybe I didn't understand well how they work...Wouldn't t they keep the humidity at 49% in any case, so raising it if it's lower and keeping it down if it's too high? I thought that was the purpose...

Is the temperature and humidity of the room affecting my bass?

Thank you guys, I was actually thinking of moving them out of that room, nice to read it's a good idea... I have an electronic temperature/humidity meter, this morning for example humidity in the room was 35%! When I'll get home from work I'll try to find a better spot for the instruments...

Is the temperature and humidity of the room affecting my bass?

Hi people, for lack of space I have to keep my instruments in the worst room of the house when it comes to temperature and humidity... It's right under the roof, in winter it's hard to maintain the temperature around 19, 20°C with humidity constantly around 70%, sometimes higher... In summer...

Little Mark II SPEAKER OUT with no load?

Oh man, Roscioli! I'm a tour guide in Rome, that's one of the (many) places I miss, the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel...way too many to mention all of 'em!!! If you will come back to the Eternal City when this mess will be over, it would be great to meet there!

Little Mark II SPEAKER OUT with no load?

At this point it seems to me like I don't correctly understand the use of a load box... Shouldn't it allow me to use a head without a cabinet? In the case in object, a chain like the following: bass - little mark input - speaker out - loadbox (thru a speakon/jack cable) - audio interface would...

Little Mark II SPEAKER OUT with no load?

I see...so for example, if I wanted to use the speaker out without a cabinet I should connect a load box and then go from the load box to other devices... It is correct? Thanks for the patience, the fact is that with the lockdown and the quarantine (I'm from Italy...) one of the ways I've found...
