    One thing to keep in mind: make sure your rig can handle the low frequencies of the low B. I once broke out my 1976 Sunn bass to knock the cobwebs loose. The B string sounded horrible. I suppose the rig wasn't designed for such low frequencies. I would think most decent modern rigs would...
