Wireless Question

Howdy,
Has anyone had experience placing the receiver of Line 6 G50 (or any other receiver) directly on top of their bass head? If so, did you have any issues? I just upgraded from a cheaper Nady system to the Line 6. The Nady system didn't like it too well when I placed it on top the head. It sometimes whined like a nagging wife. Just wondering what to expect from the Line 6 on top of a Carcin BX1500 head.

mine is hidden behind the head but right next to it, even touching it, without issue

Shouldn't be an issue - I have my XDS-PLUS on top of my amp all the time...

Mine is on my pedalboard or on top of my amp.

No issues with it on top of my amp unless I walking around in a bar and go behind a wall. If you stay in the line of sight, you can wander pretty far IME....

The higher you get it, the better reception you get. That said, I put mine on my pedalboard.

My G30 transmitter is always sitting on top of my amp head. Sometimes a GK amp. Sometimes an Ampeg amp. Zero issues.

I too used an XDS system with my rig for over a year with no problems.
The receiver was placed on top of the bass head. Worked great.
