yes they are apparently! thanks. just turned 11, he has a ibanez mikro but were looking for a bit of an upgrade. also likes the look of fenders (like berry oakley lol)

i inquired to fender about the mustang vintage white bass on their site. looking for a good short scale fender for my son. they referred me to sam ash...a local sam ash then called me and said that mustang was discontinued but told me they are coming out with this mustang pj bass in october...
