    Thanks Wes, now I get it. The guys at USA speaker recommended the Eminence Delta 10B, which seemed pretty close to the original paragons. At this point I don't see any other alternative for speaker replacement. Cheers, Tim

    Thanks for the replies, I was already aware of the Paragon speakers from GK, which is what I was trying to stay away from. So I guess series or parallel makes no difference, but I'm not sure why you would say "the cab is the problem". How is the cab the problem and not the speaker itself...

    Hi - I have a blown speaker(s) in my GK BLX210 (200W @ 8 Ohm). The only 16 Ohm 10" I can find is Eminence Delta 10B. However, I'd prefer the Eminence Legend BP102 4Ohm, but would need to re-wire in series. Is there any reason I would not want to do that? I am pretty much only running...
