I'm looking to buy a new combo amp somewhere in the 150-300 watt range. I mainly play blues and classic rock. I'm looking for a solid combo amp that has that "classic" tone. Any recommendations?

They are D'Addario Flats... can't remember the gauges.

Coming from me, I'm a Fender guy. It's a personal preference but I think for many musicians it's hard to beat a quality Fender product. But you are right, there are a lot of other great instruments out there that don't seem to be played as much by pros. Which is strange...

So I'm going to install a pick up and bridge cover on my MIM Fender Precision. Can I get some instruction or pointers on how to do this properly? Also, doe the PU cover have any affect on tone whatsoever? Thanks guys!

So I have a MIM Fender P-Bass that is my second bass behind my Fender '51 RI P-Bass. Overall the MIM bass is pretty good but the tones I get from it aren't as good as I'd like them to be. Does anybody have any ideas for effects that I could try to get that vintage James Jamerson tone? Just so...
