    Wow thank you for that info and fast responses. It does work but I had read somewhere that I can't plug right in. Any suggestions on a good pedal based preamp?

    I have a peavey series 500bh cab. What I'm wondering is what else is needed to make this thing work? Like do I need a head, a preamp? I'm very new to this. I have an Ibanez TMB30 and someone gave me this Peavey amp.
