Small world lol. I've tried a lot of guitar dirt pedals on bass and almost always need to blend my clean signal in to keep the low end; I use the Boss LS-2 for that. If any of their dirt pedals have a clean blend built in that'd probably be best bang for the buck. Use it for both guitar and bass.
