They may well be the best behaved dogs on the planet. The rap they get is sad. They are extremely sensitive. I have a year old unfixed male. He wouldnt hurt a flea, I guess unless flea wanted to hurt me. He loves all humans and animals. Best dog ever. He's 100lbs and knows it.

A fixed female pit. Way laid back and just need intense play once in a while. Small, 45-55lbs. Will die for you if need be. Dont like being scratched on nose so leave cats alone.

My father was a jazz musician, main instrument piano. My grandfather an orchestra conductor. I found a half brother a couple years ago, plays guitar. Does all that make me a great musician? No. But I got rhythm. :bassist:

Story of my life in whatever endeavor I have taken. Find people I have to look up to. I need to raise my game, been there done that, going to do it once again it looks like. I'm too old to be screwing around with unmotivated people. Rhythm has to be dead tight people, get it or go home.

A good example of the problem is a warm up song we do, Taking Care Of Business. I hit 1/8ths and its all good. I follow the guitar and we drop 20 bpm start to finish. Just for the heck of it I alternate it, I follow guitar brings it slower, 1/8ths doesnt. Thanks for all the help people. I guess...

We're not gonna go that route, he's maybe 6'6" and close to 300lbs. He finally found sticks that dont break after two songs.

This makes sense, I'll see if I can get him to bring his kit over to my house once a week to work on this. He currently lives with the lead. :hmm: The lead is awesome with timing, dead nuts.

I put up a thread recently about Enter Sandman and Speedsolve was kind enough to post a link for the bass master off of that, by Jason Newsted. I gotta tell you Jason is sloppy. It works but he is in no way shape or form the time keeper. Jason is all over the place.

I'm a new bass player!!! I like him so I guess I'll put up with it for a while and suggest a metronome earpiece. Its driving me nuts though. Everythings perfect as long as I'm doing eighths. I guess in this band I'm totally responsible for staying in time.

I'm in my first band, the drummer drifts a lot if I dont play constant 8ths. If I play a quarter or some part of a third he drifts instantly. He has been playing less then a year... He likes my cab up next to him. Dude I have been serious about bass a few monthes. Is it my job to keep him in...

Not ignoring, just sorting through opinions/experience/knowledge. This has been a great thread for me and yes apparently I do need 1000 watts and 2 810's :)
