Bolting a bolt on neck onto set neck body?

Thanks for the 25.5/24.75 scale lenghs, I spaced out 3/4", drilled new holes in the neck and got it to get good intonation. The Squire machine heads do no justice at all but it's something to toy around with. Again, thanks for the help.

Bolting a bolt on neck onto set neck body?

Not sure what routing is, but I was able to get it to stay. The intonation is off, too sharp, beyond the capabilities of the bridge. Relocating is probably the only option for that one, but I had the neck in the exact same spot as the old one. Could it be that scale difference?

Bolting a bolt on neck onto set neck body?

Bit of an odd story here, but my uncle gave me an old 80's imitation Gibson (Hondo I think) that had a set neck with a huge crack. Changing the strings was all it took to snap it. I don't play guitar much, and I sold all of my old guitar gear, but it would be cool to have one again. A friend...

    Record made of metal?

Woah, a master? I remember my neighbor giving it to me with a bunch of other records when he moved, but how on earth would he have a master copy? Maybe if it wasn't shot it would be worth something...

    Record made of metal?

So I'm guessing it's a yes to damage.

    Record made of metal?

Found an old record in my attic. It's a 45, has Manfred Mann Doo Wah Diddy on one side, completely flat on the other. No clue why, but it's made of metal! The groves are painted on. Knickerbocker label. The painted groves are flaking terribly and some chips fell off just from holding it...

    What to wear?

Sorry, but I don't have the coin for a new shirt. I'm lucky if I get $10 every other week. My amp and bass were from x-mas and b-day card money. I guess I'll just wear my dad's shirt. After all, I think they're cool looking, it's just my drummer I'm worried about, but now that I come to think of...

    What to wear?

*They are the only shirts that fit me*

    What to wear?

Oh, ok. I was just asking because my drummer is a bit of a fashion freak, and I'm not the kind of person that knows what's "in". I've narrowed it down to a shiny maroon ODO shirt with black spiderwebs, and a black shirt (label ripped off) with flaming die going around the bottom.

    New 5 String

Your best bet is to go to a store and test each one out.

    What to wear?

I have my first gig coming up soon, and it is semi-formal (Not suit and tie, but a collared shirt is the minimum, no t-shirts) and my only collared shirt is worn out, stained, and faded (in the bad kind of way) My dad offered his old gig shirts from when he used to play out, and although they...

    Uneven sound response

Oh, and I've tried EQing it for hours to no avail.

    Uneven sound response

@ 1958 Bassman, I only have one amp, a Peavey Basic 112 (The older kind with the horizontal chrome stripes, not the newer one with the red stripes and metal grate) When I play closer to the fret board, the boomy notes are still boomy, but the thin notes are somewhat less thin.

    Uneven sound response

Hmm...I guess he let his apprentice do it. I'll try to do it myself. Thanks for the info.

    Uneven sound response

Thanks for the advise. I never knew dead strings would do something like that. Would really high strings contribute to the problem? I had problems with the intonation a few months back and the guy I took it too really rode the strings up. Just shy of 1/2" at the 12th fret.
