Well i live in Philadelphia, there is a weird thing which i forgot to mention about the battery. whenever i connect the bass to the amplifier the battery start turning very hot, sometimes i can't touch it util it cools down.

Should i open the hardwear to know that? because what i have on my bass is only 2 long pickups with 4 knobs

They are gold pickups which means active

Also I was thinking of bartolini pickups,, what do you think guys ?
