Im looking for a 5 string bass and Im tryimg to decide between these two. No store around me carries either of these bass and that is why I am coming to the great people of Talkbass for help. Does anyone own one of these basses, what kind of music do play, and what do you like about the bass...

Thanks for all the replies guys. How do you like the B3k? I just found out that Nolly from Periphery uses a B7K through his Axe-fx (who is the main reason I was thinking about modeling units) and am thinking about picking one up if I do go pedals.

Oh thank you for clearing that up for me, sorry I've never had much to do with effects until lately. So I guess I'm asking for the pros and cons between a modeling unit or actual pedal and which you perfer.

Thanks for the reply, but I ment having a modulation unit (like a Line 6 Bass Pod Pro or an Axe FX) or having a pedal board (stompbox effects of all types). Sorry for not being clear.

Im leaning towards modulation but Im not really experianced in effects. Which do you perfer? Could someone give me the pros and cons of each? Thanks.

Hey guys, what can I really say? I've beeb playing bass for about two years now and play in a rock band. I cant wait to talk to all of you and make some friends along the way :)
