Spector vs BTB

Im looking for a 5 string bass and Im tryimg to decide between these two. No store around me carries either of these bass and that is why I am coming to the great people of Talkbass for help. Does anyone own one of these basses, what kind of music do play, and what do you like about the bass?

BTB guy here.

I've been in a working cover band for a few years and my older btb570fm has NEVER let me down. It's seen use and abuse I'm ashamed to admit (drops and kicking it over) but the quality is just there for a more modest price than the Spector. The 5 string models are great with a light thin neck to run around on. The Bartolini's may not be for everyone but I find the on tap EQ to be huge from song to song.

Not taking anything away from Spector though, incredibly beautiful instruments IMHO. A euro 4 will be my next bass without a doubt. Just can't give you any honest reviews about them
