1965 P-Bass: LPB "faded to green."

You can still see the clear coat on both the green and blue areas in this pic. Colors are different as well, more natural. Just saying. The OG picture resembles a refinish. However that neck looks very authentic. All said, I wouldn't pay a dime over $8,499. That's all I'm going to say about that.

You are still wrong. Doesn't matter what your faculty says. Here is the definition of Racism: : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. Note that it says 'human traits'...

Racism applies only to people not to things. "Asian electronics" technically only means they were produced in an Asian country. Could have been made by Caucasian workers in China for all we know... My Asian fiancée was not at all offended by his statement.

You aren't very bright. He wasn't being passive aggressive. And if he has a bad experience with a product or customer support, he has every right to report that fact anyway he chooses. Are you suggesting that manufacturers be allowed to treat customers any way they choose? If you don't have...

RANT - TASCAM MP-BT1 fragile junk!

I agree with the OP, it is a cheap piece of work. I used mine only and home and usually mounted with velcro on a special practice stand. So it has had very little handling. Most of the switches are malfuncitoning and the headset jack connection is loose. Perhaps I use it too much (LOL)

Another vote for passing it by. Would like to point out that the alleged gotoh bridge looks no better than the economy bridges from BPR. AAMF, it looks exactly like a bridge I just purchased for 13 bucks on eBay.

Well, that would be the most expensive set of pickups I have heard installed on an SX. Why not? Others have spent hundreds of dollars upgrading. The worst thing that can happen is you decide to put the old PUPS back on. Do make a recording if you decide to go forward with it.

+1 I have never liked the control plate on these style basses. But the translucent red finish is helping me get past it! I will just mod it until it suits me.

Based on the experience I just went through, I would take a look at how the string is sitting in the saddle. Also, I extended the the 'B' string out the back of the bridge using a 3/4" inch long piece of 7/32" aluminum tube I purchased at the hobby store. The string isn't ever going to be as...

Is that model a left-over? I just assumed it was part of the new stock. Dang it...
