I did like you suggested on my last question about getting a better sound out of this amp and it did make a big difference but my Aguilar amp not only cuts through but sounds good doing it.

I’ve had the amp for a few years and it’s never done that before, maybe I should leave it on standby longer?

I have the Terror 500 and lately when I turn off the amp it sends weird sound through the pa system, kind of like a siren. It doesn’t send that sound through my speakers, only the line out to the pa. Anyone have this issue?

Thank you, I’ll give it a try, seems like I’ve always got a better sound out of the Aguilar but this band I’m in right now, one of the guitarist is running a deeper sound so normally I would just roll off some bass and add some mids and problem solved. That’s not working in this case.

Thinking of selling my Terror 500, seems like I can’t get enough mid’s to cut through the band, even with the mids all the way up. I have 2 of the Orange 12” cabs, last night at rehearsal I hooked up my Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 and dialed in a great sound that cuts through. Am I missing something...

Yep, get a Muck. I have a Muck and it’s the best playing, sounding bass I’ve ever played.

So they’re out of stock on the tier drop so I was going to order the cocktails. Got to checkout and they want my phone number, I’ll give them my email but I don’t give out my phone number. I don’t need promo text’s. Maybe I’ll call them on Monday.

I’m using a 3mm now and it’s working so I’ll go with the 3.2 on the tier drop’s and the 2.8 on the cocktail pics. Give them a try but they got a lot to live up to because the pics I use now work really well but then those where a trial pic and they don’t make them anymore from what I’ve been told.

Those are nice, what gauge do you use. I like all those and that cocktail pick looks like a smaller triangle, nice. Thank you for that, think I’ll order a few and check them out.

This is my favorite pic, I have a friend that worked for Dunlop( I think)for a while and they made a bunch of these but then stoped. I tried one and loved it, he had a bunch of them so I grabbed 10 or so and I guard them with my life. What I like about them is they don’t pop or scratch like most...

So I got my gloves, yep got two. I ordered the white ones but got tan. I really like them, I like the tone they create and how they slide across the strings. I play better and more defined but the ones I bought wore out quick. I got mine on Saturday, it’s Thursday and I already have a small hole...

I use the Curt Mangan Strings, I like this set the best because there’s .20 between all the strings, that way when I go from the E string to the B it’s not so drastic. I’ve noticed on most sets of strings the E will be a .100 and the B is a .130 and it just doesn’t sound right.

I think it’s the number of gloves, I went with the S-2. One glove, it’s white and the video had Scott Devine in it so that way I know I’m buying the right one. Says they help with arthritis and at 60 it’s starting to set in.

Are you using the M-5 gloves? Of all places I found them on Amazon. Was hoping to find them on Sweetwater.

Don’t they make your hands sweaty? Who has them? I looked around a little and only found drummers gloves.
