    Anyone here playing Reimer basses?

Dave is such a great guy ,and wicked bass player , his shop is by my house, gave me some great painting and build tips for my short scale tele bass build last year . Since then that bass has gone on tour a few times killing it , - with a little help from its forever home owner.

    Strings for 25.6" acoustic

I put those La Bella classical base strings on a Ibanez short scale acoustic bass opn14 and they sound amazing after they settle in.

What is the smallest -and- best sounding practice amps out there?

I have not found my ba-30 hissy at all. And when I tweak the settings it is far too loud to play with making my main floor rattle lol.

Squier Affinities no longer say "Affinity"??

Actually the sonic series for Bronco was quite an upgrade. Better bridge, 38mm jbass sized nut and 21:1 ratio tuners that work quite well and only weigh a 8 grams more than hipshot ultralites. Plus more colours

Has the Squier Bronco bass been discontinued?

affinity tuners were 17/1 ratio the sonic broncos are 21/1 ratio and only weigh 8 grams mores than hipshot ultralites.

Has the Squier Bronco bass been discontinued?

Yup the sonic tuners are just fine. They have the same ratio as hipshot ultralites and only weigh a few grams more . After a lubing and tightening the key screw they work great. In fact I use them on other builds now that I found a source for them.

Winter Build Off 2024 -Best lightweight Bass for fitting in a telecaster case.

The picture in the case did not do it justice. The clear came up silky and glossy after 1000,2000,3000 and buffing paste and the color ended up like aged sonic blue which was the request of the new owner.Finding a nice padded leather strap in an almost perfect colour match at 50% on amazon was...

Also just shielded and grounded the poles via the magnets on the bottoms of the pickups. It is now a noise/hiss/buzz free bass in any switch position. Here is my wiring final with measurements from all 4 switch positions to confirm proper circuit function.
