I have an iGig bag, I can fit a fretless 4 and a 6 string in the main compartment, plus a laptop with the gig book and my TH500 in the front. It is a bit on the heavy side (27lbs), but it has very nice back pack straps that make it easy. I can load all my equipment in to a venue in one trip.

Man if I wasn't a poor college student.

I have already had an entry level 5 string. So I'm ready to invest in a mid to high level instrument. As the only bass major at my college, I'm getting thrown a lot of gigs. I have been putting of spending the money on a high end five string for a while, but my 4 string warwick isn't cutting it...

Im not really a fan of the neck profile of there five strings. Other wise I would have already purchased one.

In the market for a 5 string jazz bass or something in the same tonal spectrum. I don't live in an area where I can try a bunch out. So what are some good choices in that category.

What are some good carbon fiber bows in the $300-$500 range. I was going to get a Finale carbon fiber bass bow, but the String Emporium is out until the end of the year. So what are some other comparable options?
