Just throwing in another vote for Mono. Used their double bag in lots of weird conditions, bad weather, flights etc. and never the slightest damage to my basses.

I have an older Incase dub case, unfortunately they don't make them anymore but it's amazing- on par if not better than the Mono cases. If I were to buy new now, i'd get a Mono.
I have an iGig bag, I can fit a fretless 4 and a 6 string in the main compartment, plus a laptop with the gig book and my TH500 in the front. It is a bit on the heavy side (27lbs), but it has very nice back pack straps that make it easy. I can load all my equipment in to a venue in one trip.
I had the Mono M80 Dual and the iGig Dub and found both of them to be well made, attractive, and clumsy. Both are more case than gig bag.
In the case of the iGig, the divider between the basses is just a bother if you want the back bass first. However, it is slimmer than the M80 Dual.
The M80 Dual gave me absolutely no benefit as far as bulk. The convenience of separate compartments is negated by the instruments loading in from opposite sides of the case. IMO, it is an accident waiting to happen.
The principal benefits to any gig bag are ease of portability and greater convenience in tight quarters. Extra pockets are nice. Cosmetics aren't a deal breaker.
On a purely practical level, neither of these fit the bill for me. YMMV.

I'm trying really hard to imagine what sort of potential accident you're thinking of, and...nope, I got nuttin'.
How about the back bass falling out of the bottom compartment after the zipper has been inadvertently left open. No way that happens with both zippers on the handle side. I know it can happen because it nearly happened to me. The thing handles poorly, IMO. But people buy them, so what do I care?
I've got an older Levy's double bag. It does the job, but I really want to replace it with something a bit sturdier. I've never really been able to use the accessory pouch for anything, because that zipper went bad pretty early on in this bag's life. There's an okay level of padding around the instruments, but if I were gigging on a pretty regular basis I would want to replace this double bag almost immediately.

Now that is a gig bag that I think offers a significant level of protection for an instrument plus plenty of additional, usable storage space. I've been considering either the iGig double bag or the Mono double bag to replace my Levy double bag. But at $250 - $300 or so for one of these, I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet.

Don't get the Igig double bag.
The back compartment is fine on the Igig. The front is not. If you put anything thicker than a regular Fender, for example, one with a 3D contour body, in the back, the front divider compartment gets pushed up.
This forces the top bass' bottom corner of the body to be resting on the zipper and not on the cushion. Obviously every time you put the gig bag down, you have to be careful so as to not smash the zipper (which contacts the asphalt 100% of the time) into the body of the bass. This is a design flaw of the zipper and cushion. The makers know about this crap construction but don't care to fix it. Also the bumper/cushion surrounding the body of the bass is just awful in design.
If you have a thin bass, it's fine. Personally the Mono is just a better bag. The great thing about the Igig is when you have to take a road trip. Put the bass in the back compartment, fill the top with clothing, pedals, books, etc etc. You can't do that with the Mono since it has more padding and less space. If the sole purpose was to just carry two bass, then Mono. If you have to carry a bass and accessory then the Igig is the better choice.

As far as the padding along the edge of the bag/case being poor, that's something that you should pay extra attention to on every gig bag, particularly at the bottom. I had a Fender double bag that was particularly bad this way. I always had to remind myself to be extra careful with the bag in its upright position. When I parted with it, I literally gave it away.

I would think it's more likely for the bass in the front compartment (where the zipper runs along the top when held horizontally by the side handle) to fall out if left unzipped, since your body isn't in the way preventing the front of the bag from openeng up and dumping its contents, the way it is for the back compartment.
But then, this whole scenario makes me think perhaps it should be listed in the "Reasons To Stop Drinking (So Much)" thread!

It's been a few years since I had them. I wanted to like them, and it just didn't happen. They had the flavor of something that looks better on paper than it works in reality. In the end what done them in for me was: Too much bulk, poor balance, not enough convenience.

I have had a maroon Undercover dual bass bag since 1999. I don't know how many gigs, rehearsals, and get togethers I've brought it to - but it's in perfect conditions still. No rips, zippers work great, the foam is still soft and not packed down, and it even looks okay - despite many beer soaked floors and dingy vans.
I love it - and am so grateful for this thread, because I've wanted a second one for years, and couldn't remember who made this thing until I saw the post above!
