What's wrong with alternate tuning? I can tune down to B and still walk the neck as far as I need to. I've also noticed most fives I've messed with were just lacking something in the tone department. I'll stick with four string.

I made mine out of aluminum angle from work. Took 20 min. I'm pretty sure they sell it at the depot.

If you end up using a tube amp you probably don't want to keep it up top, as the vibes can kill the tubes.

Is your 2x15 offset drivers or up and down? Mine are offset which is not what I wanted. But it do sound good.

I play through an Emperor 2x15 and it handles drop C extremely well. It's twice the size as my SWR 4x10 and weighs half as much. Also it's built more like a guitar cab, being kind of shallow. But it handles my 4pro great and like I said has real nice drop C lows. It's not the exact I was about...
