Spector is this a USA model?

Easiest way to tell is the back of the headstock. Do you have a picture?

    USA Spector NS-2

I dont thing going to the shop or a dealer makes a difference in the price. I bet you Jason even gives you a lower price, because he may be willing to cut some of his profit for business, but why dont you check with them both and compare prices....?

    USA Spector NS-2

It all depends on what options you want. Customization equals different option charges. The biggest thing I found was you can easily save over $1000-$2000 just by going with a Forte. They are exactly like NS’s without inlays or a gloss finish. Even when I ordered my NS-2 I went with a matte...

Always!!! Many times it benefits you, price wise. Other times you have to call them and say, “You realize that’s a Euro, not a NS-2, right? Now lower the price.”

Been watching them for weeks/months and debating getting one. I watch them have 4 and then 3 and then 2. Now there is one left. I’m a big matte finish neck guy. Can’t stand playing a gloss neck. It gets all sticky on stage when I sweat and it’s annoying. Enjoy it!!

Go for a Euro! Even a used one for like $1200 on Reverb or Ebay.

    USA Spector NS-2

Th basic difference is that the NS is custom/hand made for you. The Euros are mass produced in the Czech Republic. So while 1 i made personally for you, the others are assembly lined made and you cant really ask for anything custom. Euros are very good basses as well. Nothing beats a USA one...

    USA Spector NS-2

It all depends on the options and features you select. If you like/want/prefer a matte finish and no inlays, a Forte is USA made and WAY cheaper. Work with. Good dealer and he will work every price for you. I know the guy out in California and I use him for my custom orders. Jason of Fretnation

I have heard this too many times already, with these new Euro Bolt ons. There is some defect in the electronics. I think Spector needs to move away from those Aquilars. Go back to EMGs. I would return the bass and use your heard earn money on another Spector. Why buy something new and...

I have heard this too many times lately. There is some defect in these new Euro Bolt on’s electronics. Return it. Get something else for the good money you paid. I think Spector should move away from those aquilars. IMHO
