    I believe you have plenty of time to assemble your rig. Consider a fender rumble 40 as a practice amp. Amps used should be in hundred to hundred and a quarter used. This amp has xlr out, which adds to it versitily. If you are going to use effects consider the rumble 100.
    I suspect you have found some friends and you guys are practicing. Learn to read bass clef and treble.
