I know a pro jazz player who has a 5. He's mostly an upright player, but uses his Hamer exclusively for electric gigs. Sounds awesome, with deep resonant tone. But this guy can make any bass sound pretty awesome.

I had frozen shoulder in the past. PT fixed it. Once I recovered, I began sitting rather than standing at rehearsals. Still stand for gigs, but a switch to a lighter weight Sadowsky combined with a double strap from gruv gear have helped my avoid recurrence for over 10 years now. Am pain free.
