Well I finally took the tort plunge (courtesy of a fellow TBer) and I gotta say, this P has never looked better!

Boiled linseed oil is one of the most effective conditioners for open grain fretboards. Try to stay away from food grade oils as they can develop mold in the wood grain. Check out DavesWorldOfFunStuff on YouTube. He has some excellent videos on oiling fretboards!
