Excellent choice of preamp and pickup. I chose those two to mod my Ray24 with. I put DR Nickel Lo Rider strings on it and it's my favorite MM style bass. IMO when it comes to Rays nothing beats the 70's tone. I also own a Ray34qm BTW.

I currently own 4 tributes. L-2000, SB-2, LB-100 and JB. I love all of them and I'm amazed by the quality, have yet to try the American versions. But I imagine them being superb.
