Issue resolved. I took the plate with the bridge and transducer pick-up out to fint the small screws on the inside were loose and buzzing against the body. tightened them, then set up and lowered action. Now she sings!!! Awesome. Thanks all :)

I did take out the endpin same thing, so I tuned down to D# (on E string) and flat on A string that seemed to reduce the problem significantly. This leads me to think that the bass may need a set up? but.. As I said in the original post above, when I rested on the bridge/pickup plate or...
