    The Tobias Toby Pro-5 is a Neck Thru Design and not a bolt on. I FELL IN LOVE WITH NECK THRU BASSES. Will probably never buy another bolt on neck bass again. I do own a few Gibson and Fender bolt on basses. My (2) ESP LTD 5 strings are the only ones I play 99% of the time.

    GREAT REPLY!! I own (6+) 5 string basses, just always wanted the Tobias Toby Pro-5 and they are hard to come by. I also have (6+) 4 string basses.

    #1 If I buy a 4 string Tobias Toby Pro-4, can I add another tuner, change the nut and the bridge to convert it to a 5 string? I have looked for a Pro-5 for years and never see one. 4 strings pop up all of the time. #2 Are the pickups just a solid bar or 4 separate pickups?

    I have this same bass and like others can not find any information on it. Great looking bass and well built.
