Tobias Toby Pro 5

I have red neck-thru Toby Pro 5 bass (Korea) that I purchased in the 90's. Got it new after I quit playing gigs as a 4-string bassist to learn a 5-string. Got too old and never played out again so there it has sat for 25 years. Anyone played one? Like / dislike and why? Thanks

Anybody selling their Tobias Toby Pro-5? There is one for sell online right now for a war price. The last 4 sold on Reverb for an average of $560.00. Thanks

I bought myself a 2001 Natural Toby Pro 4 recently. I was very impressed by the build quality and playability, but the electronics sounded weak to me. After doing some online research, i figured i'd replace the preamp with an EMG unit. Now it sounds fantastic. Just my two cents.
Hi Rickwebb, I play most hard rock and metal and some classic rock stuff. What type of music do you play. Just trying to decide/research on my options for a drop-in replacement for the pre-amp. Any thoughts?
