I think it is worth pointing out that the listing doesn't call it a conversion neck anywhere. It is just a 32" scale neck that fits 4-string Fender-spec neck pockets.

Did you check all of the frets? It's also tough to really know if the truss rod is working without getting it on a body and putting some strings on it. I think I'd hold off on doing too much more work on it until you've got it on a body and are sure that it doesn't have anything major wrong...

I do think these conversion necks should be sellable. The heel adjust truss rod is not that bad if you have dealt with it before. You can simply unscrew the neck joint screws by a half inch or so and the neck will pop right up to adjust it. I can even see the argument that one might prefer...

Can you use 600 grit sandpaper or 0000 steel wool to dull the shine and make the chrome one satin? Searching around, it seems to be possible. The tuning peg, stem, and lever seem easy enough to sand. The gears might prove trickier, but those are not all that visible anyway.

It looks like the part number that you tried previously is the same one as that poster used in their build and the same one that Hipshot mentioned doesn't come in a satin finish. The different finishes all have their own part number. I think your only option if you wanted them all to match...
