There weren’t many B402A basses made. So it’s a unique but not well known bass. The Starfires got all the attention.

The 402 A is a beast and the best bass I own. I found a 6 string guitar and the bodies are identical.

I own a B402A. Bought it new in 1980. This is the best bass I’ve ever played. Extremely versatile. It’s still my main bass.
