I hate meeting the guy who used to play bass and having to hold a conversation with him about how he used to play while he continuously plays air guitar to some how coax some sort of reaction out of me. I can't do nothing with that bruh

Yeah its rare to have a chance to solo in my band but whenever i do i get a lot of pressure because it has to be good. If not, i probably won't be get any more solos in the near future.

I do have a bass and amp but I've only played as a side hobby to kill time instead of watching TV. I just joined a band but i have no idea what would be best for performing. I don't know too many musicians so i thought I'd just ask. Appreciate the advice though

I would think playing your bass that high would be uncomfortable because I'm a pretty big person but i think it all depends on how you feel the music. It reminds of how a baseball players swings or how a quarterback throws the football, whatever gets the points on the scoreboard is appropriate...
