At their site, PressureWounds are listed few steps mellower than Boomers. Few steps mellower are NylonWounds. I feel the PressureWounds are quite fat sounding and even. I had also D'Addarios NylonWounds which were nice but those didn't have that midrange growl/punch and I didn't know what to do...

I didn't like the treble sound on my Ibanez BTB, especially on g-string when I got some basic roundwound strings. Now I'm playing with GHS PressureWounds which feels much more balanced. I'm about changing from BTB to M7 because 35"->34" scale EQ bypass Pickup versatility...
