When first in my hands, I certainly thought that. They turn quite freely and there is a little 'wiggle' play in them due to the fact that they double as push button knobs. After using for a bit, they really don't seem bad.

Well I tried it out, liked it enough to buy it (with an extended warranty thanks to TNCreature). Played it at a gig last night. Still have to play around to dial it in however it sounded great pretty much as is, loads of power. The stand by light is kinda ridiculous, but a minor annoyance...

I had one brought in to try out. Will be playing around with it this weekend. I definitely agree with you on the knobs. The overall build seems solid but the knobs sure feel cheap.
